From Ortho and para benzene in chemistry,
To the orthodontics in Dentistry,
I never thought,
This will be my destiny!
The department of wires and pliers,
The clinic which is full of esthetic desires…
The dept. in which
At first we feared to straighten a single wire with hands,
And now we are ready to try all possible bends…
The dept. in which,
We took whole month to just straighten that wire,
Even which never rolled and having kinks entire…
Next what we remembered,
Was understanding that great million dollar curve,
To later slipping it in patient’s work…
The dept. in which,
There is nothing that seems basic,
And everything looks tough…
The dept. in which,
Nothing gets approved at once,
And we learnt something new with every rejection that occurs…
The dept. in which,
We thought we have became photography experts,
But in last that also receive rejection without any efforts…
The dept. about which,
Everyone knows a single word,
‘THE BRACES’ in whole world…
The dept. in which,
I had my first posting,
my first patient,
and my first clinical learning…
The department which was full of
Fun, work, smiles, stress and wonders…
It was The orthodontics !
